2024 年の夏、技術の開発や継承、ND3M としての新機軸の開拓のため、Wild Fab FestivalL in 大津（WFF 大津 /WFF 2024）を企画した。この企画は 2022 年に実施した Wild Fab Festival in 吉野（WFF 吉野 /WFF 2022）の第二弾であり、メンバーが大津に泊まり込みで集まり自主制作や技術開発、ゲストを招いた講評会・展示会を行った。幅広い技術、制作方法、メディアの作品、そして試作品・失敗作が生まれた。
In the summer of 2024, we planned the Wild Fab FestivalL in Otsu (WFF Otsu /WFF 2024) to develop and pass on technologies and pioneer new innovations as ND3M. This project was the second phase of the Wild Fab Festival in Yoshino (WFF Yoshino /WFF 2022), which was held in 2022, where members gathered overnight in Otsu for independent production, technological development, critique sessions and exhibitions with invited guests. A wide range of techniques, production methods, and media, as well as prototypes and failed works, were produced.

素材の立体形状はフォトグラメトリにより取得した。これにより、もともとの模様をスケーリングさせることで異なる印象をもたせることが可能になる。また、拡大された針穴や括る過程をより強調する、絞り染めでは出てこないグラフィックを表現するなど、データ化したからこその活用方法が広がることを期待した。

The three-dimensional shape of the material was obtained by photogrammetry. This makes it possible to give different impressions by scaling the original pattern. We also expected that the data could be used in a variety of ways, such as to emphasize enlarged needle holes and the process of bundling, and to express graphics that do not appear in tie-dyeing.

遅延のエージェント ( 田川 直樹 )
空間インスタレーションとして、和室に 2 つの風に呼応して揺らぐ同一形状のエージェントを制作。一方のエージェントの姿勢や形状をリアルタイムにスキャンしたデータをもう一方に投影した。

As a spatial installation, two identically shaped agents swaying in response to the wind were created in a Japanese-style room. The posture and shape of one agent were scanned in real time and projected onto the other.
朧気格子 ( 鷲見 良 )
木粉を積層する手法に取り組んだ。造形する形状の型枠を設置し、ボンド溶液をスプレーガンで塗布、型枠を外し木粉をふるいで振りかける。以上の工程を複数回繰り返すことで立体物を造形した。
Oboro-Ki Lattice ( Ryo Sumi )
The artist worked on a method of laminating wood powder. A formwork of the shape to be formed is set up, a bond solution is applied with a spray gun, the formwork is removed, and the wood powder is sprinkled with a sieve. The above process was repeated several times to create a three-dimensional object.

ペンプロッター ( 中原 稜将 )
WFF 大津の会場である「ハイセン」の一部を画像生成AI とペンプロッターによって補完する企画。トイレの横にある剥がれた壁紙を撮影し、その画像をもとに画像生成 AI によって壁紙の剥がれた部分を補完させる。画像を線画化したのち、Houdini によって G-code に変換し3Dプリンターで描画した。
Pen plotter ( Ryosuke Nakahara )
This project was to supplement a part of “Hi Sen,” the venue of WFF Otsu, by using an image-generating AI and a pen plotter. The peeling wallpaper next to the toilets was photographed, and the image was used as the basis for an image-generating AI to complement the peeling wallpaper. After converting the image into a line drawing, it was converted into G-code by Houdini and drawn by a 3D printer.
