ND3Mは、5周年を記念し書籍の自費出版を行い、2024年12月25日にリリースを行った。「種を蒔いて、水をやる」〜27のプロジェクトから観察するコンピュテーショナルデザイン・デジタルファブリケーション〜というものである。
本書は2010年代後半から建築情報学領域に興味をもち各々で活動していた個人ら(当時学生)が集まり、2019年からチームとして発足したND3Mが、現在に至るまでの5年間を振り返りながら、メンバー独自の目線で本領域にまつわるリアルな体験と議論を綴ったものである。現役 + OBメンバー + コラボレーターも含めて13名が執筆・ディスカッションに関わった。
ND3M self-published a book to commemorate its 5th anniversary, releasing it on December 25, 2024. It is titled “Sowing Seeds, Watering Them: Observational Insights into Computational Design and Digital Fabrication from 27 Projects.”
This book chronicles the five-year journey of ND3M, formed in 2019 when individuals (then students) who had been pursuing interests in architectural informatics since the late 2010s came together as a team. It documents their real-world experiences and discussions within this field, told through the unique perspectives of its members. Thirteen contributors, including current members, alumni, and collaborators, participated in writing and discussions.
